Marie is a breast cancer survivor who works a part-time job, and is also a full-time mother and aunt. She was homeless prior to signing a lease with the Pittsburgh Housing Authority. Roomful Express and 50 Years, 50 Families will provide Marie with living room and bedroom furniture to help turn their new apartment in to a home.
The house Tina and her family were renting caught fire and burnt to the ground, ultimately destroying everything, including family memorabilia. Since the family had no renters insurance, they are having a hard time transforming their new house into a home. Tina and her family will receive living room furniture as well as bedroom furniture to outfit their new home.
